PHF 4 Teams Hockey Series: WAPDA’s winning streak continues, thrilling match draw between Pakistan Juniors and NavyOn the second day of PHF 4 Teams Hockey Series under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation, Pakistan Wapda defeated Sui Southern Gas by 1-3 goals in a thrilling match. The match between Pakistan Juniors and Pakistan Navy ended in a 3-3 draw after a thrilling contest. The special guest of the first match was Program Development Officer Asian Hockey Federation Ghulam Ghous while the special guest of the second match was Event Manager Asian Hockey Federation Zahid Ali.On the second day of PHF 4 Teams Hockey Series under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation Pakistan WAPDA’s victories continued while the match between Pakistan Juniors and Pakistan Navy ended in a 3-3 draw. Four teams including Pakistan Junior Hockey Team are participating in the double league based hockey series played at National Hockey Stadium Astroturf Ground No. 2 Lahore. These include Pakistan Juniors, Pakistan WAPDA, Sui Southern Gas and Pakistan Navy. The first match was played between Pakistan Wapda and Sui Southern Gas which Pakistan Wapda won by 1-3 goals. Ejaz Ahmed, Atiq Arshad and Aleem Usman scored goals for Pakistan WAPDA while Ali Imran scored the only goal for Sui Southern Gas. The match was supervised by umpires Hafiz Atif Malik and Sabteen Raza while Mazhar Wasim was the reserve umpire. The technical officer of the match was Syed Ali Abbas while Malik Shafqat and Mohammad Naeem acted as judges.The second match was played between Pakistan Juniors and Pakistan Navy which ended in a 3-3 draw after a thrilling contest. Asad Aziz scored two goals and Zulqarnain scored one goal for Navy while M Rizwan scored two goals and Hammad Anjum scored one goal for Pakistan Juniors. The match was supervised by umpires Yasir Khurshid and Mazhar Waseem while Sabteen Raza was the reserve umpire. Shafqat Malik performed as the technical officer for the match while Syed Ali Abbas and Muhammad Naeem performed as the judges.The special guest of the first match was Asian Development Hockey Federation Ghulam Ghous. The distinguished guest was accorded a warm welcome on arrival at the stadium and was introduced to the players and officials. The chief guest of the second match was the event manager of Asian Hockey Federation Zahid Ali while the special guests were the famous international player famous Fullback Manzoor Khaliq, Raja Ghulam Abbas DSP. Distinguished guests were introduced to the players and team officialsSecretary General Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa was also present in the stadium to watch the performances of the players along with Staff Officer President Pakistan Hockey Federation Zahoor Janjua. A large number of spectators were present in the stadium to watch the matchesAfter a day’s rest in the event, the first match will be played on July 13 at 5:30 pm between Pakistan Navy and Sui Southern Gas while the second match will be played between Pakistan Juniors and Pakistan WAPDA at 7:30 pm in floodlights.
