A meeting of the heads of the management committees chaired by Secretary PHF Asif Bajwa was held to review the arrangements for the first Chief Minister Punjab Five-A-Side National Women’s Hockey Championship. Briefing on best practices, team accommodation, player facilities and event drawings.
According to details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary General of Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa regarding the arrangements for the first Chief Minister Punjab Five-A-Side National Women’s Hockey Championship. Representatives of Punjab, PHF Officials and GMPHF (Women) Ms. Tanzeela Amir Cheema attended. The meeting reviewed the arrangements for the first Chief Minister Punjab Five-A-Side National Women’s Hockey Championship to be held at National Hockey Stadium Lahore from September 7 to 12. Secretary General PHF Asif Bajwa was briefed by Convener Technical Committee Lt. Col. Asif Naz Khokhar about the event.
GMPHF Woman Ms. Tanzeela Amir Cheema talked about the participation of teams in the event and their facilities. Representatives of Sports Board Punjab, Director Sports Punjab Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti and Deputy Director Sports Punjab Chand Parveen briefed the audience about the accommodation and facilities of the teams and technical officials. On the occasion, Tournament Director Mrs. Abida Tanveer and Empire Manager Rashid Mahmood Butt gave a briefing on game patterns, FIH rules and event draw at the event.
Secretary General Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa termed the arrangements of the mega domestic event as satisfactory and said that Pakistan Hockey Federation along with Sports Board Punjab would carry out this magnificent event to the best of its ability. PHF practice technical officials and umpires will showcase their full potential at the event. GMPHF Women Tanzeela Amir Cheema on the occasion said that the players and teams participating in the event should show their full potential. Providing all possible facilities to the players is our number one goal.
