PESHAWAR: Players of eight teams participating in the National Hockey League (NHL) have been announced. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association President Syed Zahir Shah announced the names at a press conference. Hidayatullah, selection committee member Yasir Islam and Zia Banuri were also present. Department players have also been included in the teams while officials are also included along with other teams. The names of the players in the teams have been announced at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium in Peshawar. Four players of Pakistan Hockey Team will be included in these teams. The names of the officials who will be present in each center will be announced on Monday.
Hazara team
Hazara team includes Owais, Uhud, Usman, Waqas, Nisar, Azan Ali, Haris Khan, Hussain, Mahmood Al Hassan, Ali Abbas, Sham Nawaz, Irfan, Hussain Shah, Muhammad Usman, Haseeb Khan, Khawar Shehzad, Farmanullah of the department. Players include Farman, Danish and Naveed. Official includes Sardar Wasim, Mudassar Malik and Haq Nawaz.
Meardan team
Goalkeeper Waqar, Aimal, Shahzeb, Jawad, Azhar, Hamza, Hamza, Bacha, Kashif, Saad Sardar, Ijaz, Saifullah, Zarak, Siraj, Shayan Ahmed, Hashim Awan, Ibrahim and Zakaria ‘Ibrahim’ in the men’s team. Adil is included in the official Rehan Ashraf ‘Kaleemullah’ Hassan Bacha.
Bannu team
