Three matches were played on the eighth day of Under-16 National Hockey Championship 20 under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation. Secretary of Sindh Hockey Association Ramzan Jamali was the special guest of today’s second match while Olympian Abdul Rahim Khan was the special guest in the third match. Also present on the occasion were Chairman Selection Committee Olympian Manzoor Jr., Member Olympian Khalid Hameed, Chairman Provincial Hockey Association and former IGP Muhammad Saeed Khan, Tournament Director Syed Zahir Shah.
The first match of the eighth day of the event was played between KPKB and Punjab A, which Punjab A won 0-3. Emad scored two goals and Rana Waheed scored one goal for Punjab A. Haroon Ali, Sajjad Reserve umpire Mubashir officiated the match while Judge Hamza, Ijaz Ahmed and Mohammad Yaqoob performed the duties of technical officer.
The second match was played between Sindh A and Balochistan B. Sindh A won the match 0-11. For Sindh A, Adnan scored a double hat trick, Zeb Anil scored four and Abdul Qadir scored one. The duties of umpiring were manifested, officer reserve umpire subhan. Judges Mohammad Yaqoob, Hamza and Ijaz Ahmed performed the duties of Technical Officer.
The third match of the event was played between KPKA and Punjab D which was won by KPKA 3-4. Usman and Saadullah scored two goals each for KPKA. Aun Abbas, Abdul Rehman and Hanan scored one goal each for Punjab D. The umpiring duties were by Sabteen Raza, Mubashir Reserve Empire Officer. Judges Mohammad Yaqub, Ijaz Ahmed and Technical Officer Mohammad Hamza performed the duties.
