Pakistan Hockey Federation Executive Board and Congress meeting, chaired by Brigadier Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and attended by representatives of adjoining units from across the country, Congress approves regional infrastructure Approval, 4 in Punjab, 2 in Sindh, one each in KPK, Balochistan, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Secretary General Asif Bajwa conducted the proceedings of the meeting, PHF Congress members PHF Hockey League approved.Arrangements are underway for PHF Hockey League to be held in March 2022, appointment of auditors by Congress members, approval of audit, steering committee for reconstruction of Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium has been set up. Hockey sticks will be provided at the provincial level for the promotion and development of the national game on the grass route.The 55th Annual Meeting of PHF Congress organized by Pakistan Hockey Federation was held at PHF Headquarters Lahore which was presided over by the President of Pakistan Hockey Federation Brigadier Rakhlad Sajjad Khokhar Held the agenda. The A foreign coach has been appointed by the PHF who will join the national team this month or next month. The PHF Congress meeting unanimously approved the PHF’s regional infrastructure. PHF will set up 10 regions across the country, four in Punjab, two in Sindh, one in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one in Federal, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan. The Congress meeting also approved the appointment of audit and auditor. Simultaneously, a steering committee was formed for the reconstruction of Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium Karachi.meeting was attended by members of Congress representing PHF affiliated units from across the country.President PHF Brigadier R Khalid Sajjad Khokhar specially appreciated the services of GM Women Wing Sindh Hockey Syeda Shehla Raza for her exemplary work in women’s hockey. The Congress meeting also approved the PHF Hockey League which is expected in March 2022. Arrangements are underway in this regard. The Pakistan Hockey Federation has also announced to provide hockey sticks at the provincial level for the promotion and development of the national game at the grass root level. Congress meeting includes approval and rescheduling of 2021-2022 sports calendar events,
President PHF Brigadier R Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and Secretary General PHF Asif Bajwa on behalf of Balochistan Hockey Association, Punjab Hockey Association, Sindh Hockey Association successfully organized hockey events in departments including Mari Petroleum, Pakistan Navy. The hockey events organized by the party were also specially appreciated. In the meeting, GM Sindh Women Hockey Syeda Shehla Raza suggested that hockey sticks and events should be distributed for the promotion of women’s hockey and their number should be increased. Approved by President PHF. Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali Khan, Associate Secretary PHF Syed Zahir Shah, Secretary Balochistan Hockey Association Amjad Satti also presented suggestions in the meeting.
