The first Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Under-23 Hockey Championship under the auspices of Punjab Sports Boards will be played at National Hockey Stadium Lahore from January 23 to February 05. Col. Asif Naz Khokhar and Deputy Tournament Director Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti will be the Director of the Championship while Assistant Tournament Directors will be Rai Usman Akbar Kharal and Shahid Mahmood Nizami.
According to the details, the technical officials of the Under-23 Inter-Region Hockey Championship to be played at the National Hockey Stadium Lahore from January 23 to 21 have been announced. According to a statement issued by Sports Board Punjab and Punjab Hockey Association, retired Colonel Asif Naz Khokhar will be the director of the championship while his deputy director Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti has been appointed. Rai Usman Akbar Kharal and Shahid Mehmood Nizami will serve as assistant directors. Rashid Mehmood Butt International has been appointed Empire Manager while Malik Asghar will assist him.
Other officials include Mohammad Yaqub, Shafqat Hussain Malik, Aslam Shah, Allah Dad, Javed Sadiq, Habib-ur-Rehman, Saqib Niaz, Rao Zain, Chaudhry Ikram, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Mohammad Pervez, Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed, Munawar Chaudhry, Rafiq Khan, Ali Abbas. Shah, Mohammad Asif, Atif Iqbal Sheikh, and Mohammad Younis will serve as technical officials.
The umpiring panel includes Yasir Khurshid, Mohammad Imran, Banish Hayat, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Mubashir Ali Chatta, Hafiz Atif Malik, Munir Ahmed, Mazhar Wasim, Zahid Hameed, Mohammad Saleem, Mohammad Owais and Waqas Butt. According to sources in Sports Board Punjab and Punjab Hockey Association, all the officials have been directed to report to National Hockey Stadium Lahore on January 22, 2021 at 11 am.
