District Hockey Association Sialkot Championship started. 2 matches were played on the first day. In the first match, Khalid Hockey Club defeated Young Blood Hockey Club by 6 goals to 2. The special guest of this match was District Sports Officer Sialkot Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed, a former national football player. Sialkot District Hockey Association President Ali Imran Shabbir welcomed the special guest and presented him a bouquet of flowers and later introduced him to the players.
In the second match, Grays Hockey Club defeated Zakaullah Hockey Club by 17 goals to one. The special guest of this match was International hockey player Emad Shakeel Butt.
